The IT Study Guide site for Ph.D. students is in no way endorsed by or connected to the Nova Southeastern University Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS).
The goal of the site is to make the lives of Nova GSCIS Ph.D. students a little easier. The site is divided into classes and seeks to answer questions that are typical of students in Nova GSCIS Ph.D. programs. Nova Southeastern University is the largest independent institution of higher education in the Southeast U.S., offering bachelor's, master's, doctoral, professional and educational specialist degrees in such areas as business, counseling, computer and information sciences, education, medicine, dentistry, various health professions, law, marine sciences, psychology and other social sciences. In 1983, Nova became the first school in the United States to offer graduate programs online. Nova GSCIS has five online/distance learning Ph.D. programs. These include Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computing Technology in Education, Information Science, and Information Systems. Like other public and private universities in the State of Florida, Nova GSCIS programs are accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
